Maskandi stars exchange blows after clashing at the studio

SWORN ENEMIES, uNjoko Mbambo and Mdumazi Mhlongo found themselves together in the studio to make friends.
But getting those two to kiss and make up was never going to happen.
ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA WHEN UNJOKO CALLED MDUMAZI “EARS”!
The two long-time enemies were invited to appear together on the podcast, Maskandi Friday to talk about why they were always insulting each other fighting through the words of their songs and to get a solution to stop their war.
But they verbally attacked each during the interview and then uNjoko called Mdumazi “Madlebe” (Ears).
This was too much for Mdumazi, who lost his temper and he punched uNjoko hard! The two jumped at each other and bouncers managed to stop the fight a few minutes later.
But that was not the end.
A few minutes later, angry uNjoko got his revenge and punched Mdumazi. Again the bouncers intervened.
Tables and water flew in the studio during the fight. uNjoko’s chair was broken and had to be replaced.
Mdumazi from Mtubatuba, KZN said he attacked uNjoko because he called him “Madlebe”, which is an insult. “Even my parents never called me Mandlebe,” he said.
“I apologise for physically attacking uNjoko. It was not supposed to happen,” he said.
“I ask viewers to let it go because maskandi music should not be about attacks but about music. I humbly apologise. It will never happen again.”
uNjoko from Nkandla, KZN said he was surprised when Mdumazi physically attacked him on a live podcast.
“I thought I was invited to be interviewed and I never thought I was going to go to war. I apologise about what people watched on the podcast.
“I was there for an interview and I respected that because I know what I am to the people. I understand there are many brands I want to work (with), but they check the behaviour of people in the community.”
uNjoko said they were forced to shake hands at the end of the interview and he did it but it was fake, because he’ll never make peace with Mdumazi.
Shocked maskandi fan Sakhile Gabela from Ulundi in KZN said he loves both uNjoko and Mdumazi and people must stop criticising Mdumazi for fighting.
“I criticise the podcast. How can they bring both of them together in the same place where everyone knows these artists are sworn enemies?” he said.
Podcast presenter Zamaweza Mthalane said the purpose of the interview was to find out why uNjoko and Mdumazi were fighting each other and seek a solution to stop the war.
