We are currently in need of an excellent excavation machine operator to move earth in a mining and construction site in the east rand, Benoni. The successful candidate will operate a clamshell, dragline and other excavation machines. Other available
position includes, Front and loader, mobile crane, forklift, TLB, digger loader, tower crane, mobile crane, bulldozer, grader, front end loader, scooptram, bobcat, mounted crane, ping truck and TLB
Duties and Responsibilities
Dump earth into truck
Able to operate dragline, clamshell, and other excavation machines
Machine setup and inspection
Lubricate, repair and adjust minor parts like, gears, bearings and bucket teeth
Cover refuse in sanitary landfill
Prepare etching solution in accordance to formula
Able to supervise labourers and machine operation excavation
Operate landfill compaction equipment
Perform backfilling excavating activities
Measure and verify the level of gravel, rock bases and other excavating material
Move materials over short distance in a construction site and mine
Skills and Qualification
Grade 8- 12
Experience required 1-3 years
Work in a team and a team leader
Ability to communicate effectively
Hard worker
