Ex-Sundowns star ventures into music
Music and sports are synonymous in terms of sports stars want to be musicians and musicians want to be sports stars. This is a relationship that has been around for as long as both industries and they have a lot in common. Both careers put the star in the spotlight and they come with fame and fortune which makes the relationship even more sensible.
We’ve seen it before in South African football when players like Benni McCarthy, Steve Lekolea, and Doctor Khumalo crossed over to music. This star has done it all and won it all as far as the PSL is concerned and he is certainly nearing the end of his career. He has been dabbling in a couple of other things outside of football in recent times and it looks like he has his eyes set on the entertainment industry.
Mogakolodi Ngele took to social media to upload a video of music promotion software. This comes after he had shared a video of himself singing in the last week. The star has definitely taken a liking to music and it looks like he might be going for it. He is well accomplished and is a superstar back in his country Botswana so this shouldn’t be too hard for him.
He is currently on the books of Marumo Gallants and recently won the Nedbank with them. He definitely knows how to win trophies and this is what makes him one of the highly rated players in the PSL. His stay at Mamelodi Sundowns didn’t turn out the way he would’ve expected but he managed to move on resurrect his career.
Mogakolodi Ngele is currently 30 years and he can definitely still make it in the music industry and that’s if he is talented enough. He will definitely have a hard balancing with soccer and the schedule is just as crazy which would mean that he would have to give one up. Only time will tell where he will go with his new hobby, however, his services are still heavily desired by a couple of teams in the PSL.
