Former Deputy Prime Minister Arthur Mutambara has attacked President Emmerson Mnangagwa saying he is not different from ousted President Robert Mugabe.
Mugabe argues that Mnangagwa has been part of the 37 years of misrule by ZANU PF and there fore has no legal standing the reform the country and lead it to a constitutional democracy.
Commenting on Mutambara’s assertions jounarlist Hopewell Chon’ono said, “Mutambara speaks here with crystal clarity about the issues that are affecting the country. The state foundation has been swept away by the chronic disorganization in government and continual lying about what will be done about it.”

Hopewell further said,”The values of Robert Mugabe indeed continue to underpin the state operations thru violence and tragic evils of corruption, nepotism and incompetence.
2 After the tragic events of August 1, @edmnangagwa promised a new beginning, yet all we get are empty promises without implementation.

“I agree with Mutambara that reforms and genuine national discourse anchored on honesty and transparency are the key to unlocking the door for national success for Zimbabwe. Without which this country will remain a pariah State pursuing irrational policies and remaining a laughing stock.”
