This is a support role reporting directly through to the Events Manager: Distribution Events. This role is responsible for assisting the events team with various administrative tasks relating to function/events co-ordination, and general office duties.

Support to the Events team in terms of:
Office administration
Assist staff with printing, filing, record keeping, collation of material
Ad-hoc office administration duties
Order and store stationary/office supplies
SAP administration
Management of storeroom and stock taking
Co-ordinate couriering jobs
Budgets
Assist with the population of the budget summaries into a spreadsheet
Follow-ups of invoices
Assist with the loading of payments and journals onto E2 Financials for payment (events and suppliers)
Assist with accounts reconciliations
Receive and collate quotes from suppliers/venues
Stakeholder and client relationship management
Plan, scope and define client requirements
Source and contract venues and suppliers/service providers
Arrange and executing the event/function/roadshow What will make you successful in this role?

Qualification & experience
Grade 12
Experience in a financial services and particularly Distribution and Sales environment
Sound administration background
Experience in events/function co-ordination and/or hospitality industry
Knowledge and skills

IT/Systems/Tools:
MS: Office (Excel, PP, Word, Outlook)
Form Stack (web site)
E2 Financials
Adobe: Illustrator
Perfect Table Plan

Business:
Life Assurance and Financial Services industry knowledge (basic)
Events and promotions co-ordination
