Eskom to implement Stage 1 load-shedding

Eskom has announced it will implement Stage 1 load-shedding on Monday from 9am until 11pm. The power utility says it’s anticipated that load-shedding may have to be implemented until Thursday.
Eskom says the system is currently constrained because a number of units are still on unplanned breakdown. It’s requesting people to continue using electricity sparingly.
