Eskom to downgrade load-shedding to Stage 1 on Sunday
Eskom will reduce load-shedding to Stage 1 starting at 6 am until 11 pm on Sunday. Eskom said this is due to the recovery of generation reserves.
“It is necessary to continue with load-shedding in order to fully recover the emergency generation reserves in preparation for the coming week,” read a statement from the power utility.
