Eskom plans to switch between Stage 2 & 3 load shedding over next 2 years

Eskom plans to move between Stage 2 and Stage 3 blackouts over the next two years.

That’s according to chairperson Mpho Makwana.

He was speaking during an Eskom update on its system challenges.

At the same time, Eskom has enlisted the services of an independent contractor to oversee the recovery of its coal fleet.
