Eskom insists no staff members will be forced to resign. The power utility says it’s offered voluntary separation packages to senior employees.

This, in an attempt to cut approximately R400-million in overhead costs.

Eskom says the process is one hundred percent voluntary.

The window for applications will open in the third week of February.

Employee exits are planned for the end of April.
