Parents demand answers for Enoch Mpianzi’s death

Parents and concerned parties are protesting outside Parktown Boys’ High School on Tuesday. It follows the death of Grade 8 pupil Enoch Mpianzi. The 13-year-old drowned at an orientation camp in the North West.
Classes were suspended at the school on Monday and parents attended a closed-door meeting last night.
Enoch Mpianzi’s mother, Anto, believes that the school failed her son.
She believes irresponsibility led to a school camp taking a tragic turn last week.
The South African Human Rights Commission has indicated that it would legally help the family of Mpianzi.
