Position Description:
Engineering:
Ensure that Engineering of all valve products are consistent with Flowserve standards and procedures.
Produce accurate Bills of Materials to allow production/purchasing to meet lead times.
Issue and control drawings to sub-contractors.
Produce general arrangement drawings for QA & Inspection department.
Assist Operations Manager with departments’ procedures.
Liaise with Engineering departments at all International sites.
Produce drawings on CAD to allow manufacturing to produce parts and for QA/AC to submit for approval in line with customer requirements.
Planning:
Plan the workflow through manufacturing to meet required on time delivery to customers.
Manage relationships with suppliers and determine when new suppliers are required.
Organize and schedule deliveries to suppliers for work to be done, machining and fitment.
Be responsible for inventory control.
Compliance with all Flowserve Health and Safety and Ethics programmes including Company policies and procedures.
Position Requirements:
National Diploma – Industrial Engineering.
Competent on CAD or similar.
5 years’ experience in workshop planning.
Management and communication skills
Preferences:
Incumbent will be located in the Manufacturing department.
Availability for overtime and weekend work if necessary.
Assist and take on Operations Manager duties when out of office
