Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says problems at Kusile power station will be fixed.
He expects four units to go online by the end of the year.
“What is encouraging is that we are confident that about four units will come on stream by the end of this year and then the additional one will come on stream by February of next year,” he said.
Ramokgopa says he is confident that South Africa won’t experience higher stages of blackouts.
He is on a tour of power stations in Mpumalanga where he says plans are in place to avoid power cuts
