Most musicians have ridden their fair share of waves about their fair share of politics that they had most likely endured in regards to record companies.
South African award-winning rapper, Emtee could easily attest to this dilemma above, as it recently reported that he moved back to his once – was humble abode in Orange Grove, Johannesburg.
According to Sunday Sun, Emtee has allegedly set up his own team, as his Fiancée, Nicole Chinsamy has been trusted to secure bookings for the rapper. However, upon contact, she surprisingly denied being roped in.
Things have been quite tough for Emtee, as he has previously suggested that he was not treated well at Ambitiouz Entertainment, citing creative freedom as the primary catalyst for yearning to be “set free”.
It was alleged that Ambitiouz Entertainment had repossessed Emtee’s cushy home in Midrand and his snazzy Mercedes Benz, however, speaking to Tshisa Live, the rapper confirmed that he does not have the house and cars anymore, however, his items were not repossessed by Ambitiouz he just couldn’t maintain his assets and therefore he had to get rid of the items.
According to the publication, Emtee’s manager, Lebo Maswanganyi confirmed that the rapper is now living with him in Orange Grove and that he’s set to leave AE quite soon, on a clean slate.
It’s hard to tell if there would ever be an amicable manner of salvaging this disheartening situation, as Emtee is loved by millions across borders and his talent knows no boundaries.
On Sunday, Ambitiouz Entertainment expressed that it would release a statement with regards to their situation with Emtee, the statement has still not been released yet.
