Angry eMalahleni residents blockade N4

Residents of eMalahleni are vowing to continue blockading the N4.

They are angry over inconsistent power supply and outages.

Mayor Conny Nkalitshana visited the area and was beaten up and chased away.

The residents say they’re tired of her false promises.

Residents of KwaGuqa and surrounding areas have been without electricity for nearly a week.

Protesters have been blocking traffic on the N4 for the past three days.
