Mozambique to electrify South Africa

South Africa is looking to its neighbour Mozambique, to ease the current power crisis.

It’s nearly a year since President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that the country will import additional megawatts, through the Southern African pool arrangement.

Now a deal between the two countries has been concluded, with Eskom and Mozambique’s EDM sorting out all the outstanding technical details.
