Gap between electricity supply and demand closing, says Ramokgopa

There may just be a glimmer of light at the end of the rolling blackout tunnel.
Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says energy availability could go up to 70 percent.
That’s if units at Kusile and Medupi are returned to service.
He says the gap between supply and demand is slowly closing.
This raises hopes for a consistent, reliable power supply and the eventual end of power cuts.
Ramokgopa says the positive outlook on the energy availability factor is down to South Africans reducing their electricity usage.
He promises that load-shedding will be a thing of the past, soon.
