President Ramaphosa mum on Electricity Minister’s powers

One political analyst has warned that not having a clear mandate for the new electricity minister runs the risk of deepening the country’s power crisis.
It has been nearly two months since President Cyril Ramaphosa appointed Kgosientsho Ramokgopa as the electricity minister.
However, the president is yet to clarify what powers Ramokgopa holds and set the record straight on his job specs.
This is as the country continues to battle crippling power cuts.
