Mmusi Maimane joins DA in opposing election postponement

Mmusi Maimane said that the government is setting a dangerous precedent in its bid to have the municipal elections postponed.
The leader of the One SA Movement is adding his voice to those from other parties opposing the postponement.
The IEC adopted the report by former Deputy Chief Justice Dikgang Moseneke, which found that holding elections in October would not be free and fair.
Maimane proposed that the 2021 municipal elections could be held over three days instead of one.
He said with proper health measures, South Africans should be able to vote.
