Police are investigating the death of an elderly woman who was attacked by her neighbour’s two pitbulls earlier this week.
The son of 88-year-old Olga Grill from Bonteheuwel says his mother’s body was torn apart by the dogs when they gained entry into her property.
The dogs were removed by the City of Cape Town’s Animal Control Unit. Police have also opened an inquest docket but say no foul play is suspected.
