Eastern Cape bus crash victims laid to rest – Pictures

26 victims of a bus crash in Centane in the Eastern Cape have been laid to rest. The bus they were travelling on was allegedly overloaded, lost control and plunged down a ravine last week.
It’s reported that it was transporting mainly pupils and pensioners.
Among the victim’s was three-year-old Akahlulwa Soga.
More than 2,000 people attended the mass funeral including Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula.
He says a report on the accident will be released next week.

The RTMC’s preliminary report into the cause of this collision will be released next week.
