Eight injured in early morning Durban taxi crash

KwaZulu-Natal: At 07H48 Tuesday morning, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on North Coast Road in Parkhill Durban.

Reports indicate that the driver of a mini-bus taxi, with twelve occupants on board, had lost control negotiating a bend.

Medics assessed the scene and found that the taxi had left the road, coming to rest in the bush.

Eight of the twelve occupants had sustained minor to moderate injuries.

Once treated, the patients were transported by ambulance to the hospital for further care.
