7 people gunned down at Durban hostel
Seven people were shot dead at the notorious Glebelands Hostel in Umlazi, Durban on Saturday.
Two others survived.
KwaZulu-Natal police say nine men were drinking in a room at the Hostel when unknown gunmen opened fire on them before fleeing the scene.
Seven died on the scene while two others were taken to hospital.
The motive for the shooting is unknown.
Police are investigating seven counts of murder and two of attempted murder.
