NPA welcomes Dudu Myeni sentence

Former SAA Board chair, Dudu Myeni, has pleaded guilty to defeating the ends of justice.
The delinquent director revealed the identity of a state capture witness known only as Mr. X.
This was despite an order that his identity not be revealed.
Myeni has been given a R120,000 fine but she’s now expected to pay R60,000 with the other half being suspended for five years on condition she does not commit the same offence.
It’s either that or two years in prison.
