Southern Star Comms Services (PTY) Ltd trading as StarComms is a national concern specializing in the design, supply, installation and maintenance of systems designed for technical security and fire applications. We are looking for an energetic and self-driven Driver to join our team based in Brackenfell, Cape Town, Western Cape.

You will be required to perform various functions and may be allocated to work at the company offices, work sites and other areas as operational need requires.

Job Summary:

You will be responsible for the collection and/or delivery of stock and equipment where necessary. You might be required to assist in the stores to ensure that stock and equipment are stored and booked out in accordance with the necessary procedures. You will be required to collect and drop staff at various work sites where necessary. Your aim is to ensure these duties are carried out efficiently to assist with the smooth operation of the Procurement Department.

Job requirements:

• At least 2 (two) years experience as a driver
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Valid driver’s license
