KwaZulu-Natal: Saturday morning, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the N3 Northbound between Market Road and New England Road in Pietermaritzburg. Reports indicate that the truck driver lost control after hitting an overhead bridge. On scene was the RTI and SAPS Accident Unit.
When medics arrived on the scene they found a truck lying on its side, with steel beams strewn across the road. The driver, also the only occupant on board, was assessed and found to have sustained minor injuries.
The patient however declined ambulance transportation to hospital.

KwaZulu-Natal: Friday morning, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the M13 in Pinetown, West of Durban. Reports indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control sometime during the night, resulting in the vehicle rolling down an embankment.
A passer-by heard calls for help coming from the bush, who then went to investigate and found the patient trapped in the car. When medics arrived on the scene they found that the patient had sustained moderate injuries. Read More
