Drive-by shooting case transferred to Durban

The case against an ANC ward councillor and five co-accused has been moved from Ntuzuma to the Durban Regional Court.

The suspects are facing charges related to the drive-by shooting which claimed three lives before an ANC meeting in Inanda ahead of last year’s Local Government Elections.

Supporters and families of the victims were in court today during their appearance for murder, attempted murder and conspiracy to Commit Public Violence.

The case resumes again on 15 March.
