Makro and Game workers down tools
Some 18,000 Massmart employees have gone on strike.
The company says Makro, Game, and Builders Warehouse customers don’t need to worry as it has contingency plans in place to bring in experienced temporary workers.
The workers are affiliated with the SA Commercial Catering and Allied Workers’ Union.
The picket is national.
