Public Investment Corporation doubles stake in Dis-Chem

The Public Investment Corporation has doubled its stake in retail pharmacy Dis-Chem. The holder of government employees pension funds now owns 10 percent of Dis-Chem  This is up from the 5 percent it previously owned.

The PIC is the country’s largest asset manager, with more than R2.3-trillion worth of investments.
