Job Title: Domestic cleaner
Grade: C
Job Purpose:
To undertake cleaning in area as directed to ensure the rooms are kept in a clean and hygienic condition in order to provide a professional and friendly service to staff and patients.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
To clean bathrooms, wards and kitchens and associated areas as per outlined standards. To dispose of refuse.
To maintain security of wards contents.
To be responsible for a set of keys and for ensuring the security and integrity of areas of cleaning.
To report maintenance issues as per procedures.
To clean surfaces, large and small equipment.
To make beds and change bedding inwards
To work within the relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
