DNA results confirm Motjeka Madisha died in a car crash

The family of Motjeka Madisha has confirmed, that the Mamelodi Sundowns defender did die in a December accident.

This comes seven weeks after a fiery car crash in Kempton Park claimed the lives of two people. One of those was widely believed to be.

At the time, his family had requested DNA tests to verify the identity of one of the bodies found at the scene.

This was despite numerous people and organisations, including the South African Football Association, sending their condolences.

Madisha will be laid to rest in Zebediela, Limpopo next Saturday. The 25-year-old was a regular in the Sundowns backline.
