Joburg mayor promises services at Diepkloof hostel

Joburg Mayor Kabelo Gwamanda has made even more promises to residents at Diepkloof Hostel in Soweto.

Gwamanda met with hostel leadership earlier, following protests over a lack of service delivery.

He promised residents that their water and electricity problems will begin being fixed from Monday.

“We have engaged with the leadership of the Diepkloof hostel to agree on the first phase of our response and focus on the most important aspects of their daily lived experiences,” he said.
