Gauteng: Wednesday evening Netcare 911 responded to a collision on Lynwood Road in Die Wilgers Pretoria.
Reports indicate that two bakkies were involved in a collision.
Medics found that one person, an adult male, had sustained serious injuries and was trapped inside the crumbled metal.
Advanced life support intervention was used to treat him while rescue crews used hydraulic tools to free the man.
Once stabilized, the patient was transported to the hospital for further care.
