Desiree Ellis wins women’s Coach of the Year at CAF awards

Banyana Banyana head coach Desiree Ellis was honoured as the Women’s Coach of the Year for the fourth time at the 2023 CAF Awards in Marrakech, Morocco, on Monday.
The 60-year-old won her first gong in 2018 and secured the accolade once more in 2019. The award was not presented in 2020 and 2021 due to the impact of the coronavirus.
