President Cyril Ramaphosa has appointed Advocate Nompilo Kholeka Gcaleka as the new Deputy Public Protector. Gcaleka will serve the Public Protector‘s office for seven years starting on 1 February.
She replaces Advocate Kevin Malunga. Ramaphosa thanked Malunga for his contribution and service to the people. Advocate Gcaleka has served as a special advisor at National Treasury and at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
