Singer Demi Lovato was reportedly rushed to a Los Angeles hospital on Tuesday.
According to an online report by TMZ the 25-year-old “suffered an apparent heroin overdose”.
According to Page Six the Los Angeles Police Department would not comment on whether or not Demi had been transported to hospital. They did however confirm that they responded to a “medical emergency” at the residence.
Demi’s team is yet to comment on the reports.
The young singer has fought substance abuse for years and just last month released a song titled Sober in which she confessed to falling off the wagon.
A rep for Demi Lovato has confirmed that she is awake and recovering with family.
“Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support.”
