Driver /Sales Assistant: A book retailer and distributor seeks a reliable and presentable driver whose main duties would be driving a pan van for deliveries and pick-ups in the Johannesburg area as well as assisting in the setup and pack up of corporate and school sales

Key responsibilities: Ensure correct stock and quantities are being loaded/offloaded as per delivery notes. Report defects or incidents to Regional Manager. Physical labour. Carry out all tasks relevant to the purpose of jobs as allocated by the Regional Manager. Loading a company vehicle with stock for delivery. Driving a company vehicle with stock. Delivering stock from one point to another. Weekly Vehicle Inspection and reporting of defects to management. Adhere to all safety regulations and work standards. Set up of sales. Conducting off-site sales. Merchandising POS

Minimum requirements: Code 10 driver’s license & PDP, Matric or NQF level 4, At least 2 years’ experience, Special Requirements: Must have a clean driving record for the last 2 to 3 years. Must be willing to work retail hours. Must reside or stay near Roodepoort area. Job Type: Full-time Salary: R0.00 /month.
