The company is a leading player in providing tertiary training in the Sound and Screen engineering.

The Collections Manager has a key role in the efficient collection of tertiary fees income due to the company. This role will form part of the operations team and will report directly to the financial manager but will be required to engage constructively with the various departments in the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and update current collection procedures
Actively identify arrear debtors;
Implement and manage collection process
Liaise and manage external debt collection agencies of the company;
Report in detail over collection process and status of debtors

Qualification & Experience

Minimum: Degree/Diploma in Commerce
Desired: Legal Degree (NQF Level 7)
Minimum 5 years Collections Management experience
External Debt Collections Management Experience Advantageous
Working knowledge of Consumer Protection Act, Prevention of Illegal Eviction Act, Residential Housing Act, National Credit Act, Magistrates Court Act and other Collections Legislations rules and regulations
Understanding and experience with Debit Order, EFT, Credit/Debit card Facilities
