Debt Collection Agent wanted urgently: APPLY NOW

Berea College of Technology has an opening for a Debt collection agent to join its a productive workforce. The successful applicants will be the liaison between the College, customers, and managers on overdue accounts. We are looking for a candidate that is able to multitask and must be able to work as part of a team. Importantly this person must be target driven and able to handle pressure.

Functions:

Collect payments on past due bills
Create a list of people who have not made payments
Call customers using the telephone
Utilize computer systems to handle skip tracing
Inform clients of overdue accounts and amount currently owed
Ensure all customer information is correct, including phone numbers and addresses
Listen to customer’s story and determine if debt can be collected

Requirements:

Tertiary Qualification or Certificate
Minimum 2 years experience in Debt Collection
Computer skills
Relevant knowledge of debt collections environment
Confident and has good communication skills
Negotiation skills (Negotiates actively and firmly)
