
There have been 1,367 new COVID-19 cases that have been identified in South Africa in the past 24 hours, with a further 201 deaths.
The majority of new cases came from KwaZulu-Natal with 372.
The Western Cape reported 241 new infections, while the Eastern Cape and Gauteng reported just below 200 cases respectively.
Almost 16,000 tests were conducted today with an 8.6-percent positivity rate.
