1 151 new COVID-19 cases, 7 deaths recorded in SA

Only 1,151 new COVID-19 infections were reported in the last 24 hours.
Gauteng is leading with 459 new cases.
The North West recorded 198 cases and the Western Cape 191.
Just over a hundred new infections were recorded in KwaZulu-Natal.
The rest of the provinces all recorded less than a hundred cases.
Over 15,000 tests were conducted.
The country’s positivity rate stands at 7.4 percent.
Sadly, seven more people died in the past 24 to 48 hours taking the death toll to 98,804.
