South Africa has recorded 1,385 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.
That brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 1,574,370.
Sadly 59 more people have died because of the virus.
The total number of COVID-19 related deaths now stands at 54,125
There are 19,885 active cases nationwide.
The recovery rate is at 95-percent.
