16 585 new COVID-19 cases and 333 deaths recorded in SA

South Africa has recorded 16,585 COVID-19 new cases in the last 24 hours.
That brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 2 062,896.
A total of 54,879 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours which represents a 30.2% positivity rate.
A further 333 COVID-19 related deaths have been reported, bringing total fatalities to 61,840 to date.

Judging by the decorations, Shozi is expecting a baby girl.
