The National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) said 9,160 new coronavirus cases have been recorded over the past 24 hours.
This represents a 24.9 percent positivity rate.
The NICD said 93 COVID-19- related deaths have been reported, bringing total fatalities to 58,795.
A total of 36,858 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
