ANC’s David Makhura re-elected as Gauteng premier

Gauteng’s Legislature has elected ANC’s David Makhura as Gauteng premier.

Makhura returns as Gauteng premier after securing 38 votes while DA’s Solly Msimanga received 32 votes.

The ANC won the majority of the votes in Gauteng in the 2019 Election.

It received 50.19 percent of the votes while the DA received 27.45 percent.
