The Democratic Alliance says it’s disappointed that some of its councillors voted with the ANC in the City of Johannesburg.
The party lost the metro after three years.
Mike Moriarty says some of these DA councillors have to live with themselves.
“Obviously it is a huge disappointment. It’s a disappointment for us that any councillor saw it fit to undo three years of good work done by Mashaba and DA lead administration.”
ANC’s Geoff Makhubo has replaced Herman Mashaba as mayor.
