The government has recovered R2.9 billion stolen through state capture.
President Cyril Ramaphosa confirmed this during his address on Sunday as the government continues to implement recommendations of the State Capture Inquiry.
So far, over 160 people have been implicated and have made appearances in court.
The President says recovered funds are being redirected to affected state-owned entities.
The government is also considering barring implicated people and companies from doing business with the state.
Ramaphosa says in addition to those who have already appeared in court, hundreds more and over a thousand businesses will soon face the music.
He says their information has been given to law enforcement agencies.
