ANC wants capable leaders, says Cyril Ramaphosa

The ANC has vowed to appoint leaders that are committed and capable of doing the work.

Party president Cyril Ramaphosa says the ANC will ensure that every individual placed in leadership positions has the necessary experience to fulfill their duty and responsibility.

“Part of this drive will include making sure that we appoint people that are fit for purpose and qualified individuals to positions of responsibility. We should not be appointing people that are not qualified for the tasks that we want them to perform for the people of South Africa.”

The ANC is celebrating 110 years today.

The party is hosting its January 8th Statement at the Peter Mokaba stadium in Polokwane.

The party has seen its fair share of challenges, from corrupt officials to dismal results at last year’s local government elections and being unable to pay staff salaries.
