Upmarket Indoor and Outdoor furniture chain seeks a
Customer Care Agent in their Midrand Warehouse.
You will need strong Customer Service background, relating to customer support, dealing with complaints and resolving Customer issues.
Technical experience, with the ability to operate tools, and do repairs.
You will need to think on your feet when faced with new challenges and have excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
Driver’s license (code 8) required. Objection handling abilities when faced with guarantee complaints etc When necessary, visit the site where the items are, whilst adhering to company policy and guidelines
Competencies:
Computer literate
Grade 12, or equivalent thereof if attended a college etc
Own car
Technical understanding. Ability to use tools/power tools etc
Positive attitude and willingness to help whenever necessary.
Team player
Must be able to adapt well to change as the company and function grows
Well-developed active listening skills
Strong levels of assertiveness in handling situations effectively with customers and employees
High levels of energy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to investigate and provide solutions – Strong problem-solving ability
Ability to handle difficult customers and their objections
Working closely with warehouse staff and assisting each other as best as possible where necessary to ensure Customers’ complaints/queries are resolved
Work weekends where necessary during busy periods, also assisting with setting up of shows
and exhibitions. Working longer hours than usual
Always conducting themselves in a professional manner whilst keeping the integrity of the
business in the highest regard, but always ensuring the Customer is looked after
Entering all information regarding the complaint/query into our CRM system to keep track of
progress and for reference purposes
Create quotes and invoices for repairs and deliveries, communicating these with Customers
When necessary, repairs must be completed on certain items
Driving, delivering and collecting items when necessary
Dealing with suppliers and maintaining positive relationships with them
Fast learner with an intuitive mindset and resourceful
Ability to make decisions in difficult circumstances
Strong organizational and planning skills
Dealing with Customer queries and complaints, up until resolution is met
Assisting Sales staff with technical queries and providing guidance with issues they are facing
Investigating Customer complaints/queries to establish whether guarantee claims are valid, by
gaining as much information as possible from the client/salesperson
Building Rapport with Customers by contacting them as soon as complaints/queries are
received. Either by phone or by email, ensuring they are acknowledged and assured everything will be done to resolve their complaint/query
