Police have arrested the 32-year-old driver of the gas tanker that exploded in Boksburg on Saturday.
The 32-year-old suspect faces multiple counts of culpable homicide, negligence and is expected to appear in court on 28 December.
The number of fatalities has risen to 15.
37 people including 24 patients and 13 staff members who were in the Tambo Memorial Hospital sustained severe burns.
They have since been diverted to neighbouring hospitals.
