Cristiano Ronaldo details retirement plan

Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed when he will call time on his record-breaking football career. I want to play two or three years more  maximum. I want to finish at 40; a good age,” he told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.

“I don’t know the future. Sometimes you plan one thing for your life and as I said many times, the life is dynamic and you never know what’s going to happen

CR7 has also discussed his favourites to win the Premier League title and his relationship with NFL legend Tom Brady. It’s a punchy interview, for sure, and it’s definitely made a few people pretty angry.

Onto more positive matters, Cristiano does have the small matter of a World Cup to prepare for. Portugal will face Ghana’s Black Stars on November 24th in their Group C opener. The showpiece in Qatar is almost guaranteed to be CR7’s last shot at World Cup glory, unless he goes back on his retirement plans of course
